Bryce Flowers ’24 named All-State Soccer Player

Varsity boys’ soccer player Bryce Flowers ’24 was the unanimous pick for All-League & All-State honors by the Friends Schools League (FSL) coaches. Bryce scored twenty-two goals—the most of any FSL player this season. Players are selected in recognition of their outstanding performance.

“He is a gifted athlete with exceptional skills, strength, speed, and a passion for scoring goals and winning games,” said Head Coach Glenn Curry. “A very hard worker, Bryce usually stays after practice has ended to put in extra work with his brother Tyler Flowers ’24.”

Bill Becker ’22, Emilio Pellegrini ’23 and Tyler were also named All League players. Andrew Miller ’22 and Denys Sharpylo ’22 received Honorable Mentions.

A coeducational high school athletic league made up of nine Philadelphia-area independent schools, the Friends Schools League is founded on Quaker principles and fosters respectful behavior and good sportsmanship on the playing field.
