George School will induct its second class of alumni into the Hall of Athletic Honor during Homecoming Weekend on Saturday, October 15 at 6:00 p.m. in Walton Center Auditorium.
Jeffrey Love ’19 Earns All-American Honors
Continuing his successful season this spring, Jeffrey Love ’19 qualified for the 10K at the NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Geneva, Ohio. Jeffrey, a junior at Connecticut College, placed eighth in the 10K, finishing with a time of 30:37.78. The performance earned Jeffrey outdoor track and field All-America honors.
Five George School Seniors Commit to College Athletics
Five George School seniors from the Class of 2022 have committed to college athletic programs. The student athletes celebrated their commitment to pursue their passion at the college level next year. In a ceremony held in the Fitness and Athletics Center, each senior was recognized by their families, coaches, teammates, and friends.
Kachi Nzeh ’23 and Christian Bliss ’24 Named to 2022 All-State Basketball Teams
Kachi Nzeh ’23, a 6-foot-8 point guard, and Christian Bliss ’23, a 6-4 sophomore wing guard, were named to the all-state boys’ basketball teams in the non-PIAA schools classification on Monday, May 2, 2022. They spearheaded the George School varsity team to a 15-5 season finish.
Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse Wins Opening Game
The George School Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse team notched their first win, defeating Perkiomen School 9-4 at their season-opening away game on Friday, April 1, 2022.
