George School Day Camp: Meet Our Staff
Beau Byrtus, George School Day Camp Director
William “Beau” Byrtus joined us at George School after fourteen years as the program supervisor for Old Bridge Township, NJ, which included the supervision of fourteen summer camps and fifteen sports camps. Beau has taught courses on recreation at the college level, has worked extensively with children and adults with autism, has earned New Jersey and national professional recognition in parks and recreation management, and was a competitive wrestler and wrestling coach for over a decade.
Linda Brookshaw, Assistant Director of Camp
Linda Brookshaw has been working at George School Day Camp for ten years as a group leader, activity leader, scheduler, and member of the camp leadership. When not at GSDC, you can find Linda rescuing animals and teaching elementary kids.
Jim Dalo, Tennis Director
Jim Dalo has been the Tennis Director at GSDC since 2006. Jim is a certified tennis instructor and coach with the Professional Tennis Registry. An advocate for bringing the sport of tennis to people of all ages and skills, Jim leads a program which provides tailored instruction and coaching to all camp groups, supported by our full complement of skill-appropriate equipment and facilities. Other tennis coaching venues for Jim include being the JV girls’ tennis coach for George School and conducting community tennis classes for the Bucks County Tennis Association.
