George School Day Camp: Registration
Deposit and Refund Policy
A $200 non-refundable deposit is required at registration. You may pay the deposit with your Visa or Mastercard or eCheck. This deposit will be credited against the remaining balance of your camp tuition. The $200 deposit is non-refundable. No exceptions.
Your tuition balance must be paid by June 1. If, for any reason, a camper withdraws from camp between June 1 and June 15, an additional $100 cancellation fee will be charged, and you will be entitled to only a 30 percent refund of any tuition monies paid. Those who withdraw after June 15 will not be entitled to a refund of any tuition paid.
All camp fees (camp tuition, extended care, and busing) must be paid in full by June 1. Unpaid balances may jeopardize your child’s attendance at camp. Late fees will be assessed on any outstanding balance after June 1.
Upon completion of the registration, an automatic email confirmation will be sent out. You may then access your George School Day Camp account at any time to make payments or changes to your child’s camp selections.
If you have questions about the registration process or general questions about the camp, please contact Elaine Lengle at firstname.lastname@example.org or call her at 215.579.6508.

George School Day Camp Transportation
We contract First Student, Inc. to provide bus service for campers. Most bus riders are from Newtown, Yardley, Holland, Richboro, and Langhorne. There may be areas that would be outside the practical area of transportation for our buses. In those cases we reserve the right to inform you that we cannot provide the service.
In most cases, the bus company will arrange for pick up and drop off at your house. Depending on the number of campers on the route, the length of time on the bus ranges from five to twenty-five minutes. There may be an occasion when a camper is on the bus for up to forty-five minutes depending on the size and distance of the route.
First Student, Inc. is responsible for all routes. They will contact you by phone two weeks prior to the start of camp to tell you the time and location of pick up and drop off. If you need bus service, be sure to indicate that during registration. If you have specific questions, please call First Student at 267.757.0413.
First Student also provides transportation for GSDC day trips to various off-campus locations. Staff members always accompany campers on off-campus trips. All trips leave after the start of the camp day and return in time for afternoon dismissal.
The majority of our campers arrive and depart via carpool. Because of the volume of cars arriving, particularly for afternoon pick up, we ask that parents plan not to arrive before 2:50 p.m. Because activities are scheduled up to 2:40 p.m. every day, the campers need sufficient time to gather their things, pick up a beverage, and head out to the carpool line. We begin dismissal of campers at 3:00 p.m.
To ensure the safety of all campers, we ask that parents participating in the car pool observe some practical safety precautions:
- Drive slowly: there is a 14 m.p.h. speed limit while on campus.
- Please be aware that while two cars can safely pass each other, the carpool loop road is narrow. Proceeding at a slow and safe speed will ensure the safety of everyone while on campus.
The carpool route map will be emailed in the spring.
