Summer Academy

Ready for a Summer of Learning and Fun?

Summer Academy is an engaging academic enrichment camp designed to keep students learning, exploring, and thriving during the summer months. Our mission is to help students avoid the "summer slump" by providing opportunities to strengthen their skills, deepen their knowledge, and pursue new interests in a variety of subjects.

Whether your child is looking to learn something new, review essential concepts, or get ahead in their academic journey, our diverse courses have something for everyone. We offer week-long classes for students aged 8–14, organized into age-appropriate groups to maximize learning and enjoyment. Subject areas include:

  • Business
  • Technology

  • Visual Arts
  • Social Sciences

Flexible Course Options

  • Half-Day Courses: Perfect for students seeking targeted learning experiences. Lunch can be added for $50 per week.
  • Full-Day Courses: Include lunch at no additional cost, providing a seamless and enriching day of learning.
  • Combine Summer Academy with Day Camp: Looking for a full day of fun and learning? Pair a Summer Academy course with George School Day Camp! Students will enjoy both programs in one day, splitting their time between engaging academic enrichment and exciting camp activities.
    Lunch is included, and students will eat with either their camp group or Summer Academy classmates based on their schedule. Our experienced staff ensures smooth transitions between programs, so your child can focus on what matters most: making friends, learning new skills, and having an unforgettable summer!

Collaborators
Courses are provided in partnership with George School, VAC Enrichment, and SPARK Business Academy, ensuring a blend of creativity, academic rigor, and fun in a supportive environment.

  • Classes are subject to enrollment minimums, and any changes will be communicated by the end of June. 
  • Our program reflects the same commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and personalized support that defines the George School academic year.

Set on the beautiful 240-acre George School campus, campers have plenty of room to play! GSDC is open to all genders ages 4-14.
