
The George School varsity boys’ basketball team won two home games this past weekend, defeating Valley Forge Military Academy 56-46 on Friday, December 7, 2018 and Princeton Day School 53-51 on Saturday, December 8, 2018.
In the game against Valley Forge, “Onias Outlaw ’21 scored ten points in the second half, as the Cougars put up thirty-nine points after halftime to earn the comeback win,” reported the Burlington County Times. “Charlie Trey-Masters ’19 paced the offense with fifteen points—all three-pointers—while Kenneth Rodriguez ’19 grabbed nine rebounds and added ten points.”
In the game against Princeton Day, “Onias landed a buzzer-beating shot in the fourth quarter to give the Cougars the thrilling victory. Onias, who finished with a team-high sixteen points, scored the game-winner after taking a long pass from Kenneth,” reported The Intelligencer. “The Cougars were able to gain the final possession when Nazim Pierce ’20 forced a Princeton Day turnover with twenty seconds to go. Dwayne Jones ’21 contributed fifteen points in the win.”
