This course furthers development in craft and approach as a director. Students explore every part of the directing process, from the selection of a script to table-work, researching, casting, staging, polishing, and critiquing. As a director, how do you have an idea that matters? How do you ensure that your vision comes from both the text and your unique artistic perspective? In addition, students develop close reading and analytical skills more deeply.
