George School’s fall Admission Open House is scheduled for Sunday, October 28, 2018. Registration will open at 1:30 p.m. and the program will begin at 2:00 p.m. Prospective students and families are invited to join the community to discover what makes George School unique including the diverse student body, small class sizes, highly qualified teachers, and our stunning campus.
Activities include student and faculty panels, and opportunities to speak with faculty, students, and current parents. Faculty members from all departments will be on hand to answer questions about academics, including the International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement curriculum, visual and performing arts, athletic programs, and student life. The Admission Open House also takes place during George School’s annual Harvest Weekend, which is celebrated with pumpkin carving, hayrides, apple butter making, ghost stories, and more.
For the 2018–19 school year, new and returning students represent forty-four countries and twenty-two states. Nearly 37 percent of enrolled students are students of color and nearly 50 percent of the student body receives financial aid.
