Four George School athletes were named to the National Field Hockey Coaches’ Association High School National Academic Squad for their strong academic performance throughout fall term. The National Academic Squad recognizes high school seniors and juniors who have achieved a minimum cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 or the equivalent through the first quarter of the school year. This year, there were a total of 2,770 honorees from three hundred forty-four schools across the country.
The athletes recognized from George School are Camille Drury ’19, Maia Finkel ’18, Mallory Fritsch ’19, and Julia Wilson ’18.
The team won the Quaker Cup semi-finals late last year, but lost in the final round to Friends Select School.
