Friends Schools Partner for Virtual Seminar

George School is thrilled to partner with Moorestown Friends School, Germantown Friends School, and Newtown Friends School to offer a seminar led by Jen Cort on Tuesday, October 19 at 7:00 p.m., titled Social Trends That Have Impacted Our Children in the Past 20 Years.

Jen’s research provides an important framework for conversations on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging topics, as well as Quaker values.

Jen Cort is a diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice consultant working with schools and organizations in multiple countries. She has worked with Quaker schools for over twenty-five years in a variety of roles. As a Quaker educator, Jen weaves the values of simplicity, peaceful conflict resolution, integrity, community, equality, and stewardship into her work. Friends schools have partnered with Jen on infusing Quaker practices and testimonies into the core curriculum, living out Quaker values, connecting equity and Quakerism, and embracing diversity. Jen works with groups to create sustainable and systemic change and to live out their missions regarding diversity and inclusion.
