On Friday, February 9, 2018 George School will host the Great Green Give—a massive fundraising challenge supporting the George School Fund. “The Great Green Give is an opportunity for the GS community to show their love for George School,” said Meg Peake ’03 director of the George School Fund. “While it is a fundraising challenge, we also hope that those connected to the school will share memories and photos with us on social media throughout the day. We want the day to be about what the community can accomplish together as we strive towards our goal.”

All gifts and pledges made that day will support the George School Fund, a yearly effort to raise unrestricted funds to help bridge the gap between tuition and endowment income and total operating expenses. Donors may designate their gift to the arts, athletics, faculty support, technology, campus beautification, student life, or financial aid.

Students, parents, and alumni will be making calls to reach out to the extended George School community and ask that they participate in the Great Green Give. The community has been challenged by the parents of two alums to receive gifts from 800 donors. They will make a $50,000 gift if George School reaches this goal.
