In partnership with Solebury School, the College Counseling Office hosted two college fairs at George School on Monday, April 16 from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m. and Tuesday, April 17 from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. in the South Gymnasium of the Fitness and Athletics Center. The fair helped students explore the many college options around the country and across the globe before they begin the process of applying.

Over eighty different colleges were represented each night. A list of colleges attending can be found here.

Both college fairs were required for all junior and sophomore students. Parents also were invited to attend.

On Tuesday, April 17 Andrew Strickler, dean of admission and financial aid at Connecticut College, presented an overview of the college financial aid process for parents and students from 6:30 to 7:25 p.m. in the MDA Library Conference Room. Topics covered included definitions of financial aid terms and forms, information about how colleges determine financial aid eligibility, and tips on reviewing and comparing financial aid packages.
