George School is pleased to welcome parents to campus on Saturday, October 21, 2017. Parents will have the opportunity to attend their child’s classes, meet with teachers during conferences, join Head of School Sam Houser as he delivers his annual address, and participate in college counseling and service learning seminars.
The day begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. Sam speaks at 11:00 a.m. in Walton Center. Parents are also invited to attend the boys’ varsity soccer game vs. George School alumni at 2:00 p.m. and the varsity football game against Dwight-Englewood School beginning at 3:00 p.m.
Not to be missed is the parent party on Friday, October 20, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. Parents are invited to enjoy hors d’oeuvres at the Temperance House, a historic inn in Newtown at 5 South State Street.
Visiting Day coincides with Fall Break, giving parents and students the opportunity for a longer visit and a chance for students to visit home or for parents and students to explore the area together.
