Introducing George School 360

This first 360 video is a lighthearted look at campus with students enjoying the sunshine, our 240 acres of green, and many of our historic campus buildings.

George School 360, our newest video release, gives you a different way to experience our campus. It allows you to explore campus virtually, as if you are actually here in person. The film captures all directions – up, down, left, and right.

You can experience 360 videos on your phone, tablet, or computer – no headset needed.

How to watch on your computer

You can watch 360 videos directly from your browser on your computer without using any virtual reality (VR) viewer or headset. Launch George School 360 from our YouTube channel. On the top-left corner, find the navigation circle. Using your mouse to navigate left side or right side and upside or downside. If you have a touch screen, you can move around the scene with a fingertip.

Using a virtual reality headset

You can also watch this video on a VR headset like Google Cardboard using your mobile phone. To do that, first launch George School 360 on your mobile phone using the YouTube app. Look for the headset logo, which looks like a pair of cardboard glasses. If you cannot find it, check the options menu in the upper right-hand corner, represented by three dots. This will open a new menu with the option to “View in Cardboard.” Once you have selected that option, your mobile screen splits into two parts. Then place the phone in the viewer and enjoy, turning your head to change the scene.
