MLK Day Schedule Changes

Due to the expected inclement weather on Monday, January 21, 2019, George School has made changes to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service schedule.

Students will no longer be leaving campus. They will be doing service within—service to the George School community. Students will participate in an open and honest dialogue with each other, and with the community, to reflect and grow. We look forward to a great day together.

Parents, students, faculty, and staff should consider safety first when deciding whether to come to school on Monday. If day students will not attend school, parents should notify the Attendance Office before 9:00 a.m. at 215.579.6593.

Breakfast will be served beginning at 8:00 a.m. The day will begin at 9:30 a.m. in Walton Center.

For those on campus, Monday’s schedule is as follows:
9:30 a.m. – All students report to Walton Center
9:30-9:55 a.m. – Opening Program
10:00-11:00 a.m. – Film in Walton Center
