Dance Eclectic and Sibling Weekend. Families and guests will be welcomed to campus for a fun-filled weekend! Dance Eclectic will take place on April 12 and 13 at 7:30 p.m. in Walton Auditorium. Parents can watch a livestream of the performance on the Campus Life section of the portal. On April 14, George School will celebrate Grandparents and Special Friends Day. Younger siblings of GS students will also be on campus for Sibling Weekend on April 13 and 14. Full schedule.
2019 Back to School Information. All new students will arrive on Tuesday, August 27 for New Student Orientation (NSO), which will run through Sunday, September 1. This newly designed orientation program will offer a project-based learning curriculum and opportunities for all new students to meet and interact with their peers. Teachers and student leaders will guide the orientation. Stay tuned for more in-depth information about NSO’s exciting curriculum.

Ad-Hoc and Budget Committee Members: The committee will meet this month on Tuesday, April 16 at 7:00 p.m. in the Small Dining Room to prepare the Parents Association budget and review teachers’ funding proposals for the upcoming school year.
College Counseling Presentations. Parents are invited to attend a presentation on Athletics and the College Process on Monday, April 15 from 6:15 to 7:00 p.m. in the MDA Conference Room, and a presentation on Financial Aid and the College Process on Tuesday, April 16 from 6:30 to 7:25 p.m. in the MDA Conference Room.
College Fairs Required for Sophomores and Juniors. Students and parents are invited to attend two upcoming college fairs held on campus Monday, April 15 from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m., and Tuesday, April 16 from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. in the Multipurpose Gym in the Fitness and Athletics Center. All sophomores and juniors are required to attend. See the list of participating colleges.
Strategies for Affirming LGBTQIA Youth Presentation. In this interactive presentation, GS parents Dr. Stuart and Dr. Lance Chen-Hayes p ’20 will assist parents with ways to affirm LGBTQIA children and youth in school and family settings. The event will take place on Monday, April 29 at 6:00 p.m. in the meetinghouse.
