Student Council Weekend. Campus will be full of outdoor activities this weekend including a carnival, limbo, a dunk tank, a watermelon eating contest, an open mic, an egg toss, a water balloon fight, and a movie screening on South Lawn. Full schedule.
2019-20 Back to School Information. All new students will arrive on Tuesday, August 27 for New Student Orientation (NSO), which will run through Sunday, September 1. This newly designed orientation program will offer a project-based learning curriculum and opportunities for all new students to meet and interact with their peers. Teachers and student leaders will guide the orientation. Stay tuned for a special editions of the Parent Plan-It covering NSO in the coming weeks!
Course Confirmation for 2019-20. Returning students have begun meeting with advisors to review their course selections for next year. Course confirmation paperwork is due back to the School Office by Monday, May 6.

Parents of Sophomores and Juniors: If you missed the presentations on athletics or financial aid held on the evenings of the College Fair, the PowerPoints and the video of the financial aid presentation can be found in the College Counseling section of the Parent Portal.
Strategies for Affirming LGBTQIA Youth Presentation. In this interactive presentation, GS parents Drs. Stuart and Lance Chen-Hayes p ’20 will assist parents with ways to affirm LGBTQIA children and youth in school and family settings. The event will take place on Monday, April 29 at 6:00 p.m. in the meetinghouse.
Join Us for Alumni Weekend! We welcome all members of our community to George School for Alumni Weekend May 3–5, 2019. To kick off the weekend, Geno McDermott ’04 will speak at assembly on Friday, May 3 about his career in film and television. Do not miss out on a fun-filled weekend of family activities.
Parents Association Meeting. The next Parents Association Meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the Mollie Dodd Anderson Library Conference Room. Sandy Gibson, a clinical social worker and professor at The College of New Jersey, will be presenting Parenting Adolescents in the Age of Addictions and discuss how addiction is portrayed in media, along with ways to keep children safe, informed, and connected.
