Geno McDermott ’04 Joins Entertainment One

Entertainment One has acquired Blackfin and founder and CEO, Geno McDermott ’04, will become president of US unscripted programming. “We are extremely impressed by the company and team Geno built so early into his career,” said Tara Long, president of global unscripted at Entertainment One, to The Hollywood Reporter.

Two Students Named National Merit Semifinalists

George School is thrilled to announce that Will Carson ’20 and Praveen Rodrigo ’20 have been named National Merit Semifinalists in the 65th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Will and Praveen are two of the 16,000 Semifinalists throughout the country.

Ben Luber is excited to join George School as the new boys’ varsity basketball coach. Ben is a proud member of the Council Rock North High School Athletics Hall of Fame, was a four-year starting point guard at Penn State University (PSU), and has ten years of Division 1 coaching experience.
