What to Bring

In addition to the items listed on the Preseason Athletic Camp packing list, please bring:

  • A soccer ball
  • Shin guards
  • Soccer shoes (cleats – multi stud for hard ground, some may want six-studs for mud)
  • Soccer socks (for your shin guards)
  • Running shoes
  • Pens and pencil

Tentative daily schedule
Every session will meet regardless of the weather. If in doubt as to where to go, check the board in the FAC. Athletes are expected to eat all meals in the dining hall. Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 8:15 a.m. Lunch is served from 11:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and dinner is served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Monday, August 19
8:30 to 9:30 a.m. – Check-in (Marshall Center). Move into dorm and locker rooms.
10:00 a.m. – First practice
10:00 a.m. – ImPACT testing
12:00 p.m. – Lunch
12:45 p.m. – Video session
2:00 p.m. – To gym
2:30 p.m. – Practice
5:00 p.m. – Swimming
5:30 p.m. – Dinner
6:30 to 6:45 p.m. – Welcome meeting with Kurt Ruch (FAC)
7:00 p.m. – Practice
8:15 p.m. – Day students leave campus
10:00 p.m. – In dormitory
10:30 p.m. – In room and sleeping

Regular days during the first week of camp
7:00 a.m. – Wake up
7:30 a.m. – Breakfast (required for everyone including day students)
9:00 a.m. – Friendship run &/or practice
11:40 a.m. – Abdominals
12:00 p.m. – Lunch
12:45 p.m. – Video session
2:00 p.m. – To gym

4:15 p.m. Workout with Ian in Fitness Center (Tuesday & Thursday only both weeks)
5:00 p.m. – Swimming workout
6:00 p.m. – Dinner

6:50 p.m. – Practice
8:15 p.m. – Day students leave

10:30 p.m. – In room and sleeping

Thursday, August 22 at 6:15 p.m. – Ice cream social for all athletes

The first week of camp ends at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 23.

The soccer schedule for the second week of camp will be altered slightly from the first week because of faculty obligations.
