What to Bring

In addition to the items listed on the Preseason Athletic Camp packing list, please bring:

  • Riding Boots (either tall or short)
  • Half Chaps (if needed)
  • Riding Helmet
  • Riding Gloves
  • Saddle (if you own your own)
Tentative Daily Schedule*

Every session will meet regardless of weather. Always meet at the barn. Athletes are expected to eat all meals in the dining hall. Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 8:15 a.m., lunch is served from 11:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and dinner is served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Monday: Check in at the Marshall Center from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m

– Morning session 10:00 to 11:15 a.m.
– Lunch 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
– Those that have not had ImPACT testing will do that at 12:15 p.m. Once done head to the barn.
– Those that have had impact testing already will head to the barn for barn related activities.
– Afternoon session 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
– Dinner 5:30 to 6:00 p.m.
– Welcome meeting with Kurt Ruch 6:30 p.m. (FAC)

Tuesday: Arrive at the barn by 9:00 a.m.
– Morning session 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.
– Lunch 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
– Afternoon session 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. (horsemanship)
– Dinner 5:30 to 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday: Arrive at the barn by 9:00 a.m.
– Morning session 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.
– Lunch 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
– Afternoon session 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. (workout in the FAC and then swimming)

Thursday: Arrive at the barn by 9:00 a.m.
– Morning session 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.
– Lunch 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
– Afternoon session 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. (tack shop trip)
– Dinner 5:30 to 6:00 p.m.
– Ice cream social for all athletes 6:15 p.m.(FAC)

Friday: Arrive at the barn by 9:00 a.m.
– Morning session 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.
– Lunch 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
– Afternoon session 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

*Some weekday sessions may include working out with PAW, pool time, field trips, video time, or team bonding activities.
