New Student Registration

Congratulations and welcome to George School!

After you submit your enrollment contract, deposit, and the new family and new student vital information forms, you will receive an email with your login to George School’s secure parent portal where you will be able to complete the registration process.

For questions about the registration process, contact Val Fusco in the School Office at 215.579.6530.

Registration Steps

Schedule an annual physical

After you receive your parent portal login, you will also have access to the required health forms, which need to be completed and submitted electronically. All students must have an annual physical exam prior to the start of each school year. Exams must be completed between March 1 and August 1, 2018. Please note that many insurance companies allow one physical exam per calendar year, so check with your insurance company and plan accordingly. All health forms are due August 1.

Request foreign language proficiency forms

If your child plans to continue studying Chinese, French, Latin, or Spanish at George School, have his or her current language teacher complete the appropriate Language Proficiency form before the current school year ends. It can be difficult to contact teachers during the summer, so do this by May 7, 2018. It is helpful if we receive this form before your placement test date(s). PDF forms should be mailed or faxed back to George School using the contact information shown at the bottom of the forms.

Request final high school transcript

Every new sophomore, junior, and senior needs to complete the High School Transcript Request Form. Please give it to your current school when the 2018–2019 year is over so that we have a final transcript from your previous school for our records.

Review academic calendar for 2018–2019

Check the academic calendar for exam times and vacation days. Plan travel arrangements around these dates. Please note that students cannot change the times of their end-of-term exams to accommodate travel. Refer to our Travel Guidelines.

Review the Bring Your Own Laptop (BYOL) policy

Students are required to bring their own Mac or PC laptop to school. Read more about the policy here and review the Student Computer Specifications.

Preseason Sports Camp

Preseason sports camp is for varsity level athletes and may be attended by invitation only. New students are not required to attend preseason, but if you feel your child is a varsity level athlete, please contact Athletic Director Mike Bailey at 215.579.6686 to inquire about attending.
