George School Swimming Teams Triumph at FSL Championships

The George School boys and girls swimming teams are both Friends Schools League Champions! This achievement marks the second consecutive championship for the girls' team and the third for the boys' team.

Outstanding Individual Performances

Gabriella Karasinski ’27 shone brightly, winning two individual events: the 200-Yard IM and the 100-Yard Breast. Her performance in the 100 Yard Breast set a new George School Varsity Record.

Record-Breaking Relays

The relay team of Ana Brown ’28, Quinn Jerardi ’27, Freya Mottershead ’25, and Gabriella Karasinski ’27 set a new George School Varsity record in the 400 Freestyle relay. Additionally, Quinn emerged as the FSL Champion in the 100-Yard Butterfly, while Ana secured victory in the 500-Yard Freestyle.

Mikko Kuittinen ’26 Makes History

Mikko had an exceptional meet, setting school, pool, championship, and FSL records in the 100-yard Backstroke. He also set school, championship, and FSL records in the 200 Yard Freestyle. The relay team of Mikko, Kentaro Bauer ’25, Daniel Gluschuck ’25, and Luke Linden ’25 set new pool and championship records in the 200-medley relay.

"I could not be prouder of the accomplishments of both programs," said Head Coach Brandon Hullings. "Both teams finished the dual meet season undefeated and defended their Friends Schools League Championships, marking the completion of one of the most successful seasons in George School history. These accolades could not have been accomplished without the contributions of the entire Varsity Staff, including Ginna Lewing, Ted Schueller, and Will Freeman. It has been an honor and a privilege to work with each one of these student-athletes. I can only hope that they enjoyed the experience as much as I did."

Congratulations to the George School swimming teams on their outstanding achievements!
