This weekend, George School had 4 boats racing at the City Scholastic Championship in Philadelphia. The GS girls’ 8+ finished eighth out of thirteen teams. The GS girls’ 4+ finished fourth out of fifteen in the time trial to qualify for the A-final, where they finished fifth. The GS boys’ 4+ finished eighth in their time trial after being run into by another crew; they had been in a great position to advance to the A-final. Finally, the girls’ Freshmen 4+ took home some hardware, winning bronze in their A-final. All the GS rowers raced well at the Championship, helping George School Rowing to become a real contender during the program’s first year!
