The George School Cross Country Cougars opened their 2024 season at the Mill Street 5k, with months of intense summer training paying off. Both the boys' and girls' teams celebrated 2nd place individual finishes in their races.

Margaret Massengill '26 shattered her personal record, clocking in at 18:37 and narrowly missing the win by less than a second. On the boys' side, Michael Mascari '26 also set a new PR, finishing strong with a time of 16:06.

The Cougars' first FSL meet will take place at home next Tuesday, September 10, against Shipley and Friends Select at 4:00 p.m.
