Julia Wilson ’18

University of Pittsburgh
Standard Level does not mean easy when it comes to IB, and Julia preferred it that way.

What was your favorite class?

IB Standard Level Biology was by far my favorite class at George School. The intensity and hard work were always worth it. I could see the payoff in my tests and projects. I also loved the fieldwork, night labs, and field trips. The material was always engaging.

What was the best thing about living in the dorm?

The diversity of people I lived with led me to become friends with people I never would have expected, especially in a dorm that housed sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

More about Julia:

Julia was captain of both the field hockey and equestrian teams, served on the yearbook staff, and was a tour guide. Biology was just one of the challenging courses she took on her way to an IB diploma.
