Lauren Hanna ’21

Doylestown, PennsylvaniaHamilton College
Whether in class or on the field or the court, Lauren learns much from faculty and staff members who are mentors, too.

What lessons have you learned on a team?

I have played on both the varsity girls’ soccer and basketball teams. One of the best things about playing sports at George School is getting to meet people that I may not normally meet, and then getting to work with them on a daily basis.

In particular, Priscilla Wiggins ’12, our assistant soccer coach (she also works in advancement), has made a big impact on me. Since freshman year, she’s become a huge mentor and has helped me with anything I may need.

What was your most interesting class?

AP English with Joelle Sanphy ’08 was my most interesting class last year. I had already known her as my advisor, and I really loved having her as my teacher, too. I especially enjoyed the class because it was very discussion-based and had only nine students.
