“Our student-athletes competed very well and represented George School with great pride,” said Mike Bailey, senior athletics director. “We also had Jeffrey Love ’19 win his second George School Cross Country Invitational.”

Jeffrey, who won the invitational last year with a time of 16:33, finished the race in 16:22 this year.

“I was just happy to be able to defend my title, especially considering that my mother was here to watch,” said Jeffrey. “Going in I was nervous, but as soon I got on the line all of my fear went away. I was glad to see we did better than we did last year as a team, which was also a success.”
