Vanishing Dice Murder: Urban Crime in Rural Pennsylvania, is based on a true homicide investigation from south-central Pennsylvania. Steve was appointed to represent the defendant and recounts the entire trial in the book.
“I tried this case in the Franklin County Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas in 2015, twenty-years after the murder of a young man,” said Steve. “The main accuser, Dice, disappeared for eighteen years prior to being captured in Georgia, causing the delay. The particulars of trying a murder twenty years after the occurrence made for a great story.”
Steve is a graduate of Colgate University and the Dickinson School of Law, Penn State University. He is a member of the Franklin County, Pennsylvania, and American Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the United States Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
