Student Involvement Encouraged at Upcoming Club Fair

On Sunday, September 9, 2018 George School will host a Club Fair for all students as part of Orientation Weekend. The fair encourages students to meet their peers with shared interests and get involved in clubs and activities offered by the student body.

Current student clubs and organizations include Argo, Art for Relief, Chinese ClubClay Club, Curious George (student newspaper), Entrepreneurship Club, Goldfish ’n JavaJunior State of America (JSA), Latin American Student Association (LASO), Model United Nations (MUN), Open Doors (LGBTQIAA alliance), R&B Step TeamReading Olympics, Students Associated for Greater Empathy (SAGE), Student Council, Umoja (African culture group), Women’s Issues Now (WIN), Young FriendsTabletop Club, and Improv Club.

The Club Fair will take place from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Fitness and Athletics Center. Other Orientation Weekend events include a school dance and team-building exercises. The weekend is required for all first year students, but all students are encouraged to attend.
