Life at GS

You might have come here for the academics and the college counseling, but it’s everything surrounding that—the leadership skills you will build in clubs and sports, the life skills you gain from living with others from across the world, and the creative outlets that you’ll pursue—that will really shape your experience here.

Red Square Then and Now: Four Square versus Spikeball

In 1987, the Class of 1937 donated the Plaza between Main Building and Drayton dorm, now referred to as "Red Square."

Clever George School students quickly realized its pattern of 20-foot squares created the perfect setting for Four Square. In most recent times, Four Square has been succeeded by Spikeball.

Whether your allegiance is to either game, Red Square stays as lively as ever as the student hub of George School.
