Life at GS

You might have come here for the academics and the college counseling, but it’s everything surrounding that—the leadership skills you will build in clubs and sports, the life skills you gain from living with others from across the world, and the creative outlets that you’ll pursue—that will really shape your experience here.

Shari Rossman appreciates that students are strongly connected with their home foods and draws on her experience to encourage and teach students to share their traditional dishes.

“As a global community, food is certainly a touch point. Food is a very real way to share culture. Students often begin by wanting to enjoy their familiar foods, but then become proud to share these foods with their classmates and peers.”
