Chris Summa, the new head strength and conditioning coach at George School, believes that the three keys to successful training are movement, nutrition and mindset.
Health & Wellness
Helping students stay healthy in mind, body, and spirit is a team effort.
At the Student Health and Wellness Center (SHWC), we take a holistic approach to student wellness, partnering parents or guardians, advisors, dorm supervisors, coaches, and athletic trainers to ensure that students learn best practices for their own health and wellness, know how to seek help when needed, and are cared for and comforted when injured or not feeling well.
The SHWC offers a full range of high-quality primary care, treatment, counseling and referral services, and health education programs.

The Student Health and Wellness Center Partnerships make a Meaningful Difference.
The Jed Foundation provides high schools and districts expert support, evidence-based best practices, and data-driven guidance to protect student mental health and prevent suicide.
The Caron Foundation Educational Alliance provides behavioral health assessments for students to identify substance use related problems, mental health issues, and other factors that could negatively affect a young person’s life.
The George School Health and Wellness Center uses these partnerships to continually enrich the program with resources for the community.
