Several George School student artworks were selected for the 24th Annual High School Art Exhibition at Bucks County Community College. Notably, Ryan Doyle ’19 was awarded the 3-D prize for his table created in Advanced Woodworking and Design.
“Ryan has taken woodworking and design for three years,” said Carter Sio ’76, woodworking and design teacher. “In those years he has pushed himself to try new techniques and take on projects that stretch his abilities. It has been a wonderful opportunity to have worked with him when he knew very little about woodworking to now have him moving about the shop like a pro.”
Other students selected to exhibit were Isabel Coulter Daly ’20, Alexandra Long ’20, Amanda Yang ’20, Anisgul Stanikzai ’19, Ada Rose Wagar ’21, Fiona Keith ’19, Lorelei von Stackelberg Jones ’20, Daizae Tucker ’20, Naia Madden ’20, Nora Greer ’19, Camille Drury ’19, Maddy Neway ’19, JoceLynn Laboissiere ’19, Aisha Turner ’20, Mackenzie Sheehan ’19, Josie O’Neal-Odom ’19, Phoebe Current ’19, Neha Thumu ’20, Evan Connolly ’20, S. Mitch Reilly ’19, and Eva Kinnel ’20.
The exhibition will run through April 10 at the Hicks Art Center Gallery at Bucks County Community College. Find more information here.
