A longstanding tradition, Live Music Weekend, returns to George School this weekend, February 9 through 11. “We have around forty acts performing,” says Caleigh Hoffmann ’18. “Merfolk, Fishin’ Bird, Andromeda Dream, Perry’s Wet Kisses, 305, and Fish and Bird, are some of the bands performing. As well as Liz de Lise, an outside performer.”

The two-night event is run by student organization Goldfish ’n Java, a group displaying the performance talents of students and various guests in a variety of live music performances each year, ranging from intimate coffeehouse settings to outdoor concerts. This event highlights the student body’s diverse taste in music, while also giving students the chance to be on stage and perform for peers.

Live Music Weekend kicks off in Marshall Center on Friday, February 9 at 8:00 p.m.
