Ava Navarro ’18 Signs with Duke University for Fencing

On Wednesday, November 8, 2017, Ava Navarro ’18 signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to join Duke University’s fencing team. Her parents, grandparents, friends, and coaches joined in the celebration at the Fitness and Athletics Center.

Cougars Set Records at State Track and Field Championships

The George School Cougars set new records at the Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association meet on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Abby Eisold ’20 set a new state record of 14.98 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles and Sanaa Hebron ’22 set a state title in the 400-meter race at 56.93 seconds. Several athletes on both the boys’ and the girls’ teams set new personal records.

Eight Student Athletes Commit to College Athletics Programs

Eight George School student-athletes—in seven different sports—celebrated their commitment to pursue their passion at the college level next year. In a ceremony held in the Fitness and Athletics Center, each senior was recognized by their families, coaches, teammates, and friends on Monday, May 20, 2019.
