This year’s event will take place on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Spruance-Alden Science Center.
The George School Robot Invitational is a low-pressure, friendly, and fun competition that takes place at George School. “What makes this contest different from others, is that most of the challenges are not disclosed until the morning of the contest,” said Chris Odom George School faculty. “So there’s a little hack-a-thon atmosphere and no late-night stress of building a robot.”
Last year, about thirty students from various local high schools competed. The school is hoping for an even larger turnout this year.
