Thirty-Five Students Receive Scholastic Art Awards

George School is pleased to announce that thirty-five visual arts students received a total of eighty-eight Scholastic Art & Writing awards this year. Students in painting and drawing, woodworking, and photography classes submitted work. Winners were selected from several hundred submissions from the counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia.

Josie O’Neal-Odom ’19, Isabella Lin ’18, Ryone Omae ’19, Nora Greer ’19, Quan Do ’18, Haley Kaufell ’19, Emma Huttemann ’20, Camille Drury ’19, Maddie Tong ’18, and Eric Yu ’19 each received gold key awards—the highest honor.

Since 1923, the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards have recognized the vision, ingenuity, creativity, skill, and talent of our nation’s young people. These awards continue to celebrate, showcase, and inspire young artists.
