Alumni Weekend is Back–Live and In-Person

We are looking forward to welcoming alumni and friends back to campus for Alumni Weekend on May 6–8, 2022 to celebrate achievements, rekindle friendships, and reflect on your George School experience.

The celebration will be filled with community-wide events designed for all alumni as well as current students, parents, faculty, and staff. So make your plans, bring your family, and join us for a fun-filled weekend.

Start the weekend off right! Meet up with classmates and friends at the Alumni Weekend Welcome Reception on Friday, May 6. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served in the beautiful Mollie Dodd Anderson Library from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. $20 per person. You can make your reservation when you register for Alumni Weekend.

On Saturday, May 7 the All-Alumni Gathering will take place at 10:00 a.m. in the meetinghouse and will include a welcome address by Head of School Sam Houser as well as alumni award and retiring faculty presentations. Afterwards, join student ambassadors for a campus walking tour or attend the master class in the Mollie Dodd Anderson Library before heading to lunch.

Memorial meeting for worship will be held that afternoon in the meetinghouse to remember friends who have passed. Head over to Cougar Field to cheer on the varsity and junior varsity girls’ lacrosse teams or explore student artwork displayed across campus. Other Saturday afternoon events include a student and faculty panel, reunion class photos, a presentation by the Admission team, and the family fun zone with live music.

New this year is the first-ever All-Alumni Party which will take place on campus on Saturday night from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Celebrate with generations of George School alumni and friends with dinner, beverages, and music under the tent on South Campus. $50 per person. You can make your reservation when you register for Alumni Weekend.

Alumni Weekend 2022 concludes on Sunday, May 8 with meeting for worship and brunch.

Whether you will be celebrating your 5th reunion or your 65th, introducing your children to George School—or your grandchildren—please come share your Georgian pride. We have missed gathering in person and cannot wait to see everyone on campus!
