Varsity Baseball Preview

The Bucks County Courier Times highlighted the upcoming varsity baseball season and named Kenneth Rodriguez ’19 (P/3B/LF), Joe Kumar ’20 (SS/P), Dylan Kirton ’18 (P/3B), Peter Delaney ’18 (OF/C), and Will Vamos ’18 (OF) as key players. Kenneth was also named a player to watch this season.

“The Cougars started the season last year winning seven of their first ten games and made it to the Friends Schools League semifinals where they lost to Friends’ Central, 7-4,” reports Joe Fite correspondent for the Bucks County Courier Times. “Coach Vince Campellone believes his team is oozing talent at almost every position and can once again challenge for the title.”

The upcoming Cougar’s game against Friends’ Central was also named one of the five games to watch. “This could be a preview of the Friends Schools League championship game,” said Joe.

The Cougars will host Friends’ Central on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
