Thirty George School students arrived on campus early to prepare for their upcoming season. Over the last two weeks, they have worked exceptionally hard and have been focused on both fitness and the tactical side of the game.

Coach Paul Machemer ’65 who is starting his 35th season this fall “has some rebuilding to do, especially in the back, where he must find a new keeper and put together a new back line,” reported the Bucks County Courier Times. “But some newcomers are showing promise, and this team could be a factor in the FSL race if it can find a goal scorer or two.”

Key players for the team highlighted by the Courier Times include Fernando Rojas ’18 (D-M), Jordan Valdepeñas-Mellor ’19 (M), Phil Cavallo ’18 (M), Andrew Arth ’19 (M), Eric Yu ’19 (M), Logan Hillegas ’18 (S), and Nico Alighieri ’18 (S).
