Varsity Girls’ Basketball Has Double-Digit Success

The varsity girls’ basketball team was recently highlighted in the Bucks County Courier Times for their win against Solebury School on Friday, February 1, 2018. The Cougars finished 8-0 in the regular season against non-league opponents.

“With the Cougars’ 42-8 non-league victory Friday afternoon at Solebury School, they have posted back-to-back seasons with 10 wins in George Long’s first two seasons as the head coach of the girls program,” reported Tom Pfaff of the Bucks County Courier Times.

Kaliyah Myricks ’21 scored a game-high of fifteen points. Jennifer McArthur ’19, Nailah Campbell ’21, and Cynthia Menna ’18 also added points to the scoreboard for the Cougars.

The team will compete for the Quaker Cup this week against Germantown Friends School.

The FSL Quaker Cup Championship game will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February, 9, 2018 at Germantown Friends.
