The George School varsity girls’ softball team was recently previewed in the Bucks County Courier Times.

“The Cougars will field perhaps the youngest team in the area,” reported the paper. “There are no seniors on the roster, but a talented freshman class shows a lot of promise.”

The paper identified a few key players including JoceLynn Labossiere ’19 (3B), Mackenzie Sheehan ’19 (SS), and Caitlyn Mihalik ’20 (P).

Varsity Head Coach Terry Scullion is looking forward to the start of the spring season. This will be his third year coaching softball at George School, and he has enjoyed getting to know the team and watching them grow as individuals.

“Our goal as a team is to improve every day, and to give one hundred percent with every pitch in every game,” said Terry. “As a coach I like our team motto to be: play hard, play smart, play together, and have fun.”
