Planning for College with a Friend

My college counselor helped me a lot throughout my college application process. Starting sophomore year when I first arrived at George School, she has always made herself available to me whenever I needed help, from selecting courses to thinking about colleges. Beginning junior year, we started researching schools to decide on the schools that I wanted to apply to.

Throughout the whole application, from writing college essays to preparing for interviews, my counselor helped me feel confident about my choices and preparation. Even during periods of stress, she was there for me and would check up on me to see how I am doing from time to time. I would describe the relationship with my college counselor as not only a partnership but also a friendship.
