
Jeffrey Love ’19 qualified for the 2022 Indoor NCAA Division III Championships for the second time in his collegiate career at Connecticut College and will race in the 5,000-meter run. Jeffrey posted a career-best mark of 14:36.34 in the 5,000 at the Tufts final qualifying meet in Medford, Massachusetts on March 5, 2022. He is seeded 17th overall in the event, scheduled for the weekend of March 11-12, 2022 at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Jeffrey’s success for the 2021-2022 season also landed him a spot on the 2022 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field All-Region team awarded by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Now a junior at Connecticut College, Jeffrey was a George School four-year-letter athlete in Cross Country and Track & Field and served as team captain of both sports in his senior year. He was the 2019 PAISAA State Champion in the 2-Mile, two-time New Balance Indoor Nationals qualifier in the 2-Mile as well as a 2x Friends Schools League champion in Cross Country and the 2-Mile.
He is double majoring in Botany and Economics and works in the Arboretum at Connecticut College and helps as a monitor in the fitness center. Jeffrey plans to become a botanist or a portfolio manager after graduation.
