Join us on campus for George School Family Weekend, November 4-5
Your family is part of ours, and we want to celebrate that with you. It will be a weekend full of fun activities and opportunities to learn about your student’s experience both on and off campus. We look forward to seeing you!
- Advisor Meetings and Mini-Class schedules are available on the Portal. Please take a screenshot of your schedule before coming to campus. Printed copies will not be available.
- Fall break begins after a student’s last school commitment on Thursday, November 3.
- There are no classes on Monday, November 7. Classes resume on Tuesday, November 8 at 8:15 a.m. EDT.

McFeely
Join students from the Storytelling for Social Justice course who recently returned from Greece to enjoy their video, audio, and print reflections. Tour their Love Without Borders art show. 100% of proceeds from the show will go to the refugees.
6:30-8:30 p.m. | Parent and Guardian Association Reception
Location change: La Stalla Restaurant, Newtown
Join fellow parents/guardians to enjoy food, drinks (cash bar) and camaraderie in a beautiful, tented and heated outdoor area. The event will be outside in a beautiful tented area with heaters; however, it is recommended to bring a jacket or sweater. Reception sponsored by the Parent and Guardian Association.

- Student Scavenger Hunt: Student teams of two compete for prizes as they complete a scavenger hunt across campus. Prizes for first, second, and third place teams.
- Cross Country Trail Walk: Bring walking shoes, comfy clothes, and join Director of Parent Engagement Ginny Waller on a walk along portions of George School’s cross country trail. Departs from Red Square promptly at 2:00 p.m. Enjoy hot cocoa and hot cider upon return!
