Summer @ George School
Whether your child is interested in sports, academics, arts, technology, or a little bit of everything, they will find it at George School this summer. From the “Best of Bucks” award-winning George School Day Camp to sports camps and clinics to the Summer Academy, George School is committed to providing a summer filled with adventure, growth, and lots of fun. Our top-notch camps are led by talented and enthusiastic teachers and coaches who are passionate about what they do.
GEORGE SCHOOL DAY CAMP
Summer is better with friends. At George School Day Camp, exploring an array of activities alongside friends new and old is an experience children 4–14 won’t soon forget. Camp is held on a beautiful 240-acre campus under the watchful eye of our caring and attentive staff. Discovery and inspiration are everywhere, while age-appropriate challenges build self-confidence and independence.
GEORGE SCHOOL SUMMER SPORTS
Summer sports camps and clinics delight young athletes ages 8-15 (individual camps’ age requirements vary) while they build skills in basketball, equestrian, and soccer. Our coaching staff have experience as college athletes and/or as coaches at the high school or collegiate level. Instruction is well planned, organized, and fun.
GEORGE SCHOOL SUMMER ACADEMY
Education, challenge, and fun are all on tap at the George School Summer Academy which lets students ages 11-14 focus on a single subject so they can polish their skills and, in some cases, get ahead. Our excellent teachers provide engaging in-person learning experiences in leadership and public speaking, creative writing, summer reading, and math enrichment.
For rising 11th and 12th graders, we offer an SAT Prep course run by TestTrak Tutoring that combines direct test prep instruction with performance data information that allows students to individualize their preparation in a meaningful way.
BLACK ROCKET STEM COURSES
Summer Academy 2023 will also include the addition of STEM courses (students ages 8-14) run by Black Rocket Productions. Black Rocket has over twenty years of experience designing courses in the S.T.E.A.M fields. Every program is powered by the child’s innate imagination and designed to bring their ideas to life in a fun, hands-on learning environment. Courses include drone adventures, coding, creative design and robotics, video game production, Model United Nations, Mock Trial, Young Investors and Entrepreneurs, and Inventor’s League.
