Academic Calendar 2024-2025

Parents and Guardians: In booking travel arrangements, please be mindful that the final day of a term is a class day; when students miss this day it can seriously impact their academic work. These absences are considered unexcused.

School Breaks:

• Fall Break: November 23-December 1
• Winter Break: December 21-January 5
• Spring Break: March 14-23

August

21 Boarding prefects move in; training begins for day and boarding prefects.

24 Boarding preseason athletes move in.

• Preseason runs from August 24-August 31.
• There is a required meeting for ALL preseason athletes at 1:00 p.m. on August 24.
• Preseason is for invited students only; please email the appropriate coach by August 1.

25 International student mentors move in.

26 New Student Orientation (NSO) captains move in.

27 New international boarding students move in.

28 New students move in; NSO begins.

• NSO is for ALL new students and runs from August 28-September 1.
• Day students are encouraged to stay on campus for dinner and evening activities throughout NSO.
• NSO Schedule:
  • August 28: NSO ends at 4:30 p.m.
  • August 29: 9:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. 
  • August 30: 9:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. 
  • August 31: Weekend Activities 12:00 – 8:30 p.m.
  • September 1: 9:15 a.m.- 6:45 p.m. (dinner served)

13 Half Day; Spring break begins after last commitment. Dorms close at 4:00 p.m. on 3/14.
14-23 Spring Break
