Leadership Giving

Our recognition societies are one of the many ways we celebrate the leadership, loyalty, and legacy of our donors. Membership in our giving societies will enable you to make a meaningful impact on the George School community.

Leadership

1893 Society

The 1893 Society recognizes donors who make gifts ranging from $1,893 to over $50,000 to the George School Fund. Leadership gifts represent approximately 70 percent of all dollars raised in the George School Fund.

Head of School Circle  $50,000 or more
Meetinghouse Circle  $25,000 to $49,999
Retford Circle  $10,000 to $24,999
Sunnybanke Circle  $5,000 to $9,999
Drayton Circle  $3,000 to $4,999
Main Circle  $1,893 to $2,999

 

Four Square Society

The Four Square Society recognizes young alumni who are generous to the George School Fund at the leadership level. Alumni who are within fifteen years of their graduation are eligible to become members of the Four Square Society. Gifts made at the leadership level by young alumni empower the development of citizen scholars and young four square players. Get in the game today!

King Square  $1,500 to $1,892
Katsura Tree Square  $1,000 to $1,499
South Lawn Square  $500 to $999
Red Square  $100 to $499

Loyalty

Sticky Bun Society

 

The George School Sticky Bun Society is a group of loyal and dedicated alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends who support George School every year. Individuals become members of the Sticky Bun Society when they have made gifts to George School for five consecutive years.

Legacy

John M. George Society

 

The John M. George Society recognizes and honors alumni, parents, and friends who remember George School in their will or estate plans and who have informed the school of this commitment. To learn more, visit our planned giving page.
