The George School Athletics Department is pleased to announce seasoned aquatics coach, Brandon Hullings, as the new Aquatics Director effective August 2021.
“Brandon brings deep swimming and coaching experience,” said Athletics Director, Kurt Ruch. “He knows firsthand what it takes to develop strong student-athletes, and this is going to benefit our George School and club swimmers deeply. We are excited to have him lead our aquatics program.”
Brandon comes to George School from the Pennington School where he was Head Coach of the middle school swim team, and also served on the coaching staff of both the junior varsity and varsity water polo teams.
“I am incredibly excited and humbled to accept the position of Aquatics Director and Head Coach,” said Brandon. “The combination of George School’s academic reputation, institutional support, elite facilities, and desire for growth in aquatics provides an ideal framework for success. I cannot wait to add my chapter to George School’s legacy.”
Prior to returning to his alma mater, Pennington School, Brandon coached various swim teams throughout New Jersey including the Hunterdon County YMCA Stingrays and the Eastern Express Swim Team, where he currently serves as senior coach.
Brandon is a graduate of Denison University where he was a part of their first National Championship Team in 2011. He is certificated by the American Red Cross in Lifeguarding, CPR, Safety Training for Swim Coaches, and Water Safety Instruction. Brandon is also certified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the NFCH in Concussion and COVID-19 Safety.
