Brandon Hullings Named Aquatics Director

The George School Athletics Department is pleased to announce seasoned aquatics coach, Brandon Hullings, as the new Aquatics Director effective August 2021.

“Brandon brings deep swimming and coaching experience,” said Athletics Director, Kurt Ruch. “He knows firsthand what it takes to develop strong student-athletes, and this is going to benefit our George School and club swimmers deeply. We are excited to have him lead our aquatics program.”

“I am incredibly excited and humbled to accept the position of Aquatics Director and Head Coach,” said Brandon. “The combination of George School’s academic reputation, institutional support, elite facilities, and desire for growth in aquatics provides an ideal framework for success. I cannot wait to add my chapter to George School’s legacy.”

Brandon has spent the better part of the last fifteen years in aquatics. After a successful swimming career which saw him earn Scholastic All-American Honors at The Pennington School and the 2010-2011 NCAA Division III Men’s Swimming and Diving Team National Championship at Denison University, he returned home to help develop The Pennington School Aquatics Program and lead the New Jersey Stingrays Swim Team.

Brandon helped guide both the Pennington Middle School Swim Team and the Pennington Water Polo program to championships in their respective sports. Additionally, Brandon coached over twenty Pennington School Varsity record holders including four of Pennington’s five All-American performers.

After eight seasons with the New Jersey Stingrays which saw the program transform from a casual team to annually producing Junior National qualifiers and finalists, Brandon transitioned to Senior Coach at the Eastern Express Swim Club before arriving at George School as Director of Aquatics.
