George School is a proud 2021 Brilliance Award Winner from InspirED School Marketers. The 2021 George School deconstructed admission viewbook received the silver award for Printed Viewbook/Prospectus.
The Brilliance Awards are sponsored by InspirED School Marketers, a website providing “brilliant ideas and brain food” for independent and private school administrators. It is the only international competition acknowledging excellence in the field of independent and private school marketing.
“Our viewbook project continues work started before the pandemic, and it reflects close collaboration between our Marketing and Strategic Communications and Admissions teams,” said Head of School Sam Houser. “Work of this caliber is evidence of excellent strategic thinking, creative execution, and dynamic collaboration in support of George School’s mission, vision, and work.”
Submissions for the Brilliance Awards are judged by a panel of volunteer marketing and communications experts from around the globe, with experience in private schools or businesses that specialize in school marketing. Entries were scored on creativity, persuasiveness, design, and overall appeal. Judges commented on the unique model of creating your own viewbook, and shared praise for its strong design concept and engaging copy.
Other winners in the category were Groton (Gold) and Choate Rosemary Hall (Bronze).
