John P. Orr ’73 Named One of Three AACE Fellows

AACE International named John P. Orr ’73, PSP FAACE, a Fellow of AACE International.

On April 6, 2019, AACE International named John P. Orr ’73, PSP FAACE, a Fellow of AACE International.

With 7,000 members in 100 countries, AACE International has been serving total cost management professionals working in project controls, project management, estimating, risk management, and claims since 1956.

The status of Fellow is a selective and prestigious honor. It is only given upon nomination by at least five AACE peers, a recommendation from the Fellow Admissions Committee, and approval of the Board of Directors.

John joined AACE in 2006 and obtained a Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) designation the same year. He has been a member of AACE’s Technical Board since 2011 where he is currently the director of conference quality. He is a well-respected author and presenter at AACE’s Conference & Expo. John has served as President of the North Florida Section since 2013.

John also serves as a senior a scheduler at AECOM, an American multinational engineering firm that provides design, consulting, construction, and management services. He earned a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering and biology from Bucknell University. John will receive his official recognition as part of the Awards Luncheon program at the 2019 Conference & Expo in June.
